PITHAMPUR PLANT
ETB completed 34 years of operations in India in the month of June 2020. The first Eicher truck was rolled out from its manufacturing plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh in 1986, and over the past years, the products have got endorsement from happy customers. Eicher unveiled its entire new range of future generation trucks and buses at an impressive product reveal function in Pithampur on December 2, 2013. As a part of the product development process, the organization has a fully-equipped vehicle and engine development center with fatigue lab, complete virtual vehicle integration capability, different simulations, in-house competence for electrics and electronics integration, a complete bus structure, and interior trim design capabilities.

Baggad Bus Plant
To capitalize on the opportunity of improved road infrastructure and growth of smart cities, an ultra-modern bus body manufacturing facility was set up at Baggad (Madhya Pradesh, India) in September 2013. The multi-model plant manufactures Light, Medium and Heavy duty buses in Diesel and CNG, and also in alternate fuel (EV’s). The plant has a current installed capacity of 15,600 per annum, expandable to 19,200 per annum.

BHOPAL PLANT
To expand further and cater to dynamic market requirements and evolving customer needs, the Bhopal facility was initiated in November 2019. In less than a year, the assembly of first engine was rolled out in November 2019 from the new plant. The new facility will be utilized to manufacture VECV’s Pro2000 light duty BSVI range. Manufacturing plant in Bhopal spread over 147.8 acres of land and has an initial capacity of 40,000 trucks per annum, which would be scalable up to 100,000 per annum to align to future business plan volume requirements.

The truck has been tested for more than 500,000 kilometers across Africa and Asia, including rigorous endurance & performance testing for over 200,000 kilometers in South Africa. Eicher Pro series in South Africa is intended to win over the medium duty truck buyers with its combination of high uptime, class-leading fuel efficiency, higher loading capacity, and enhanced driver efficiency and safety. With the incorporation of Volvo Group’s technology, rigorous performance testing, and established local network, the truck is equipped to deliver Non-Stop Performance on South African roads.
To ensure a high level of sales and aftersales care, the company has joined hands with South Africa's well-established truck dealership groups such as CMH, Morgan Group, BB Motor group, AAD, Billson Trucks, & Premier truck and Bus.

To further insure timely parts availability, Bidvest Panalpina Logistics (BPL) is appointed as its 3PL partner. A huge investment has already been made to take care of the parts availability. Currently, our warehouse has a parts availability of over 2600 line items.
